A graduate of the Royal College of Music and the University of Birmingham, Andrew has the professional training and experience needed to deliver a good musical education. He is well known throughout the UK for his expertise, tuition publications, and as a consultant to leading educational organisations. As an educational composer and piano/keyboard expert Andrew enjoys a growing international reputation.
Andrew is experienced working with children aged 5 and above right through to adults, with whom he particularly enjoys working. He enjoys teaching beginners but also has plenty of experience teaching far more advanced pupils, including helping them preparation for music colleges or professional work.
Andrew's pupils gain outstanding results: with 100% success in ABRSM graded examinations, including more than 80% gaining Merit or Distinction - around twice the national average. Within the last two years alone, two of his students have gained Music Scholarships to independent schools, and three of his students have started University courses in Music.
Andrew is fully CRB checked, has comprehensive public indemnity insurance, and is a member of the Incorporated Society of Musicians.
He has been happily married to Louise since 1992, and they have two teenage children.
