Japan Relief Fund
Andrew Eales is pleased to announce that he has completed a commission for an original piano composition from the Colorado Federation of Music Clubs. "Rainbow Prelude" is available for download from their website, as is a second piece which was composed by the eminent American educational composer Susan Ogilvy. Each piece can be previewed by listening to the MP3 recordings. A donation towards the relief fund is required for a full download of the sheet music and MP3 directly to your hard drive.
"The recent tragedy in Japan left music teachers and musicians without a way to earn a living or continue to build their musical career in addition to demolishing their homes and personal belongings. Everyone can help by purchasing these music downloads and can also donate to this Tsunami/earthquake relief fund. 100% of the proceeds will go directly to musicians in Japan."
We are all thrilled at the announcement that Aubrey Cable (aged 11) has won a Music Scholarship to attend the Wells Cathedral School, which is one of the four specialist music schools supported by the UK Government's "Music and Dance Scheme".
Wells Cathedral School has a distinguished history of producing some of the best musicians in the UK. Aubrey's success in gaining a place there is a huge achievement for a young musician who only started playing just four years ago - and is already playing Grade 8 pieces!
Proud father Jeff writes: "Our son has really flourished under Andrew's tutelage. I cannot recommend him highly enough. Look no further if piano or keyboard is your thing and you wish to take lessons with one of the very best teachers available.”

She runs a singing group for the younger girls, plays cello in the school orchestra, and regularly performs piano in school concerts.
